Welcome to the ADVANCE Program at K-State

In 2003, Kansas State University was awarded an ADVANCE – Institutional Transformation grant by the National Science Foundation. ADVANCE is a program designed to increase the participation, retention, and advancement of women in academic science, technology, engineering and math careers by changing institutional culture and practices. The ADVANCE office serves as a campus-wide resource for information about policies and practices that work to increasing gender diversity among STEM faculty. We also administer initiatives and policies intended to accomplish this goal.
